Peace all:

The MCC is pleased to announce its first Eid celebration on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitri 2005.

The MCC would like to invite you, your friends and families to come and enjoy good food and music on Sunday, November 6, anytime between 11:00 am till 5:00 pm.

The Open House will be at 12 Millington Street in Cabbagetown: nearest major intersection: Carlton & Parliament.

The Eid Open House will serve a dual function: to celebrate the joyous occasion of the Eid with our families and friends as well as serve as a fund-raiser for "The Muslim Chronicle" which airs on CTS in order to ensure that that the show continues to air and raise issues of serious impact on Muslim Canadians and our society.

A donation of $20 / person is suggested as a contribution to the fund-raiser.

We hope you, your families and friends can join us in these celebrations and fundraising initiative.

Please RSVP your attendance and the number of people in your party to:

mcc.eventsrsvp@hotmail.com.

In your email also specify if anyone is vegetarian.

We promise to make it a very enjoyable and fulfilling day for you.

As with all MCC events, the Eid Open House is open to all, regardless of religion, race, nationality, ability, gender or orientation.

Come and celebrate Eid with others who are not scared of the simple joys of life!
